You set my mind ablaze

Like tiny embers, reaching for the sky.

I’m losing track of the days,

Nothing makes sense, without you and I.

It’s like someone sees me for the first time,

And I don’t know what to do,

Is that just another line?

All the traps I could walk into.

I don’t know how to trust this is truth,

I want to believe the things you say,

But a broken heart plagues my youth.

And once rose colored, now sees grey.
